All BS&B manufacturing locations operate to certified ISO 9001 quality standards. These facilities, located in Tulsa, Oklahoma, USA; Limerick, Ireland; Sao Paulo, Brazil; Chennai, India; Edmonton, Canada; Minneapolis, Minnesota; Houston, Texas; Beijing, China; and Monterrey, Mexico, when combined with additional sales and marketing hubs in the UK, Germany, Singapore and Tokyo provide quality customer service on a local scale.
The Company´s EMEA headquarters is based in Limerick. The number of employees controlled from the Limerick base is over 100, including technical, manufacturing, finance, IT and sales.
EMEA is responsible for sales throughout Europe, Middle East and Africa. Much of the sales are managed through distributors, however in the UK, Ireland and Germany the company employs its own sales force selling direct to the end user.

Understanding of the position
This is a key role within the organisation. You will oversee the EMEA Sales team and will be responsible for increasing sales and developing new sales channels.
Job Summary
- Increase sales in line with annual targets.
- Develop new sales channels using representatives, distributors, direct sales companies or hybrids of same.
- Manage the team of international Sales Managers ensuring effectiveness and return on their time/travel/costs.
- Ensure all sales staff, distributors and agents are fully trained in the company´s products and are kept up to date with technical developments and also with developments of the company.
- Set forecasting and performance measurement metrics for distributors and direct sales companies.
- Constantly review the performance of agents and distributors against targets as indicated above and against professional standards and quality of service.
- Achievement of monthly, quarterly and annual sales plan.
- Maintenance of budget expenditure within agreed targets.
- Ability to motivate and develop experienced sales professionals.
- Management of administrative aspects of the role.
Essential Requirements
- 10+ years in a technical sales position
- Degree in Chemical/Mechanical engineering or related discipline.
- Proven track record in achieving sales targets through direct and indirect sales channels.
- Experience in managing distributor/agent relationships.
- Solid management experience preferably gained in the Safety Systems sector.
- Knowledge or understanding of an engineered product would be an advantage.
- Strong leadership skills and ability to drive through change.
- Strong communication and presentation skills with ability to sell in competitive situations.
- Possess commercial sense and ability to negotiate and close sales maximising results.
- High energy level and initiative.
- Ability to travel frequently and manage diverse activity while on the road.
Desirable Requirements
Knowledge of the pressure relief industry.
