Our client is one of Hungary''s leading food product companies.

Position

  • As a management team member, the Sales Director will be a key contributor to the overall company strategy and accountable for its P&L targets.
  • Plan the annual sales target and budget and ensure achievement of the planned numbers.
  • Work together with other functions, define the sales strategy.
  • Manage, develop and motivate the sales teams in Hungary (about 40 employees). Build a motivating reward strategy to maximise the results of both the district sales and network sales teams.
  • Build and develop excellent relations with key clients, to establish a long term business relationship.
  • Define key sales programs and initiatives together with the district sales manager and the network sales manager.
  • Manage, develop and monitor sales reports and forecasts.
     

Profil

  • 6-10 years'' Sales experience in the food industry, in multinational FMCG companies.
  • Strong self confidence and managerial skills and at least 3-5 years of managing teams- ideally some years as a commercial director.
  • Proven track record of increasing sales productivity and achieving major commercial growth.
  • Excellent, communication, negotiation and networking skills.
  • Strong understanding of the Food industry, brand strategies and marketing activities - ideally some years in a Marketing leader role.
  • Strong IT skills and ideally some experience in e-commerce.
  • Fluent English and Hungarian. Any other language is an advantage.
  • Innovative, creative mindset.
  • Willingness to travel within Hungary.
