VP Supply Chain

The organisation

Our client is a multinational player in technical solutions. Market growth and excellent strategy have allowed the organization to continue healthy growth over a sustained period of time. We are looking for a VP Supply Chain who is able to lead the entire operational side of the organization, including warehousing, logistics (including 3PL), facility management, and customer service. As part of the regional board, you will significantly impact the organization's course and responsibility for its results. 

The position

We are looking for a VP Supply Chain for our client in technical industries.

Tasks & responsibilities

As VP Supply Chain you will lead your supply chain management team consisting of 7 managers, located in the Netherlands, United Kingdom, and France. With a strong focus on continuous improvement and Lean operations, you will be able to run the organization's core business as efficiently and effectively as possible. Furthermore, you are able to develop the organizational capabilities that are needed for the organization to be fit for purpose and fit for the future. This includes resources, strategic planning, and execution. 

As a member of the regional board, you will own your area of expertise and responsibility and will strive to move the company forward toward the future.

Candidate profile

• Master's degree in Business Administration and/or other related field(s).
• Extensive (min 10 yrs) experience in supply chain management positions.
• Experience working in international organizations.
• Preferable a background in regulated technical industries.
• Strong communicator and process-oriented.
• Well versed in intercultural collaboration.
