The organisation

Our client is an internationally recognized real estate fund that specializes in commercial real estate (logistics and offices).

The position

You will be leading the Logistics Investment activities, including asset acquisitions, development projects as well as M&A for Europe and UK.

Tasks & responsibilities

• Develop business strategies, as well as pursuing and evaluating business opportunities for European Logistics market.
• Leading the local Investment team and manage the operational Investment activities.
• Drive growth of the real estate portfolio by building relationships and supporting the origination of new investments and business opportunities. 
• Develop and implement a sound business plan for sourcing acquisition or investment opportunities, including specific strategies designed to achieve short and long-term growth and profit objectives. 
• Manage end-to-end investment transactions including origination, research, deal evaluation and structuring, financial analysis including financial modelling, and deal negotiation and execution (including development and Build-To-Suit projects). 
• Preparation of management reports and board materials.

Candidate profile

• Degree in Engineering, Building, Real Estate, Business, Finance or any related discipline.
• At least 10-15 years relevant working experience in Netherlands, Europe and / or regional real estate investments. 
• Resourceful, a keen analytical mind and proficiency in financial modelling are essential. 
• Good financial product knowledge, business development and / or development management experience and experience in industrial properties investment is an advantage. 
• Good teamwork, strong initiative, good business and financial acumen, and great independence in working in a fast-paced environment. 
• A good team player, possess a high level of initiative, hands-on, resourceful, eye for detail, strong communication and interpersonal skills, and able to work independently in a fast-paced environment without a strict 9 to 5 mentality.
• English is required, Dutch and/or another European language is preferred
