Icoinic is based at Beursplein 5 in Amsterdam, the financial heart of the Netherlands, and is registered at the Dutch Authority for the Financial Markets (“AFM”) under the AIFMD- light regime and reports to the Dutch Central Bank (“DNB”). The position

As a senior account manager you will be responsible for a number of relationships of Icoinic. You think along with your relationships and are invested in the relationship with them. As an account manager you combine relationship management. Therefore, you are responsible for a wide variety tasks. These tasks range from managing capital flow through customer relationship management and onboarding new customers to informing clients about market developments and opportunities. Your main tasks will be: 

Tasks & responsibilities

  • Analysing the market, identifying accounts and drawing up a strategic account plan
  • Taking care of acquisition, for example by approaching potential customers and giving presentations
  • Maintaining the relationship with existing customers, also by providing timely and extensive information about products or services and making proposals about new possibilities and organize events
  • Acting as the first point of contact between the customer and the company
  • Offering support to the customer in both technical and organizational terms
  • Identifying customer needs and providing information
  • Monitoring developments in the market and, if necessary, anticipating on time, for example, product developments by competitors
  • Keeping a proper administration (with for example correspondence, contracts, invoices and offers)
  • Monitoring and achieving the set targets and results
  • Dutch native speaker. English at professional level
  • Minimum of 5 year experience 

The role is based in Amsterdam and requires candidates to be fluent in Dutch and English, both spoken and written. You will be working from the office and not from home, working from home is possible in consultation. 

Candidate profile

  • HBO/WO level, economic and/or financial education
  • Available at least five days a week 
  • Knowledge of crypto markets and traditional financial markets
  • You have excellent communication skills:  You are able to communicate effectively with different audiences using appropriate communication techniques and tools. You can show interest and distill important information from dialogue.
  • You create support: You know how to motivate people for a goal or change. You recognize possible resistance from people and are able to turn this resistance into a positive point of view.
  • You take initiative and are proactive: You are able to notice problems or obstacles and solve them as quickly as possible. You are alert and anticipate opportunities, new situations or problems and are able to act on them at an early stage. You look ahead, you identify opportunities or innovations and take the necessary action to take advantage of them.
  • You have a high level of Integrity: You maintain generally accepted social and ethical standards in activities related to the job.
  • You have excellent networking skills: You are good at establishing and maintaining contacts inside and outside the organization. You know how to use these to gain information, support and cooperation.
  • You are confident: You have skills necessary to convince others of a particular view and to gain approval for certain ideas, issues or plans.
  • You are responsible and independent: You consider your own tasks and duties, those of colleagues and of the organization important and take responsibility for them, even when things do not go well. Furthermore, you pick up your tasks independently
