The organisation

Our client is a technical installation company that, together with its partners and technicians, delivers and innovates technical services in and around the home. They are primarily active in the telecom and energy sectors. They operate on behalf of major brands such as VodafoneZiggo, T-Mobile, and Comfort Partners.

Continuously responding to trends and customer needs, they keep renewing and improving its services — for example, by ensuring smart home equipment functions optimally, or by offering customers remote assistance.

How do they do all this? By making the entire customer journey for consumers as easy and enjoyable as possible — in their own unique way. The technicians, or rather experts, play a crucial role in this.

A combination of organic growth and strategic acquisitions will enable them to achieve substantial growth in the coming years — with more diversity in clients and services, and many new initiatives. To make this happen, they not only serves existing customers flawlessly but also braces entrepreneurship and flexibility to successfully launch and execute new initiatives.

The position

You will own the end-to-end go-to-market for Safe Home 2025, overseeing lead generation, outbound sales, and content-driven demand creation. 

The Sales Director – Safe Home is responsible for defining and executing the commercial strategy for their Safe Home business. You will own revenue growth, build and manage key partner relationships, and lead sales teams to expand their presence in the home safety and security market.

You’ll work closely with Product, Operations, and Marketing to shape the Safe Home value proposition and ensure commercial success in both B2B and B2C channels.

Tasks & responsibilities

Strategic Leadership

  • Develop and implement the commercial strategy for Safe Home, aligned with company’s broader business objectives.
  • Identify new market opportunities, customer segments, and partnership models.
  • Own the annual sales plan, revenue targets, and forecasting accuracy.

Business Development & Partnerships

  • Build and maintain strategic relationships with key partners (e.g., insurers, technology providers, and installers).
  • Negotiate and close commercial agreements that drive growth and margin.
  • Represent the organisation in external meetings, industry events, and partner negotiations.

Sales Management & Performance

  • Lead, coach, and develop the Safe Home sales team.
  • Drive a culture of performance, accountability, and collaboration.
  • Define KPIs and ensure strong sales reporting and pipeline management.

Cross-functional Collaboration

  • Partner with Product and Marketing to shape value propositions, pricing, and go-to-market strategies.
  • Collaborate with Operations to ensure seamless delivery and customer experience.
  • Contribute to strategic planning and innovation across company's service ecosystem.

Candidate profile

  • 8+ years in senior commercial or sales leadership roles, preferably in home services, telecom, energy, or security.
  • Proven track record of developing and executing growth strategies.
  • Strong network and partnership experience in B2B/B2C environments.
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and relationship management skills.
  • Data-driven approach with strong financial and analytical acumen.
  • Fluent in Dutch and English.
