The position

As the Quality Director, you will oversee all quality assurance and quality control activities within the organization. You will ensure compliance with international regulatory standards, lead quality improvement initiatives, and manage a team of quality professionals. Your role is pivotal in maintaining the highest standards of product quality and safety.

Tasks & responsibilities

• Develop and implement quality management systems in line with regulatory requirements.
• Lead internal and external audits, ensuring readiness and compliance.
• Oversee the quality control processes, including testing and validation.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address quality issues and implement corrective actions.
• Provide training and mentorship to quality assurance staff.
• Stay abreast of industry trends and regulatory changes to ensure ongoing compliance.

Candidate profile

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Life Sciences, Pharmacy, or a related field.
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in quality assurance within the pharmaceutical or biotechnology industry.
• Proven leadership skills with experience managing quality teams.
• In-depth knowledge of GMP, GLP, and other relevant regulatory guidelines.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Fluency in English; proficiency in Dutch is an advantage.
