Your task:
The Project Manager is responsible to lead a project area (e.g. server renovation) and its work streams towards achieving its targets and objectives on-time, to the specified quality level, throughout all phases of the project.
Responsibilities are in detail:
Works closely with the Program Management to ensure that project area objectives are aligned with the overall project goals and targets
Establishes, reviews and continuously maintains detailed work plans for the project area related work streams
Provides regular status reports to the Lead Project Manager
Integrates project area members into cohesive work streams rather than a collection of individuals
Ensures required expertise is available in the various work streams
Liaises with interfacing project managers and technical leads to identify integration topics and related actions
Ensures knowledge transfer from works treams to regional functions
Drives and facilitates decisions (process changes, technical scenarios, master data, organizational set-up, etc.)
Looks for short-term solutions in case of issues, escalates to Lead Project Management if required
Continuously evaluates risks and develops mitigating actions

Your profile:
Several years of experience in the management of international IT projects at enterprise companies
Educated in project management methods, PMP or Prince2 certification is welcome
Good working knowledge of using project management tools including MS Project
Broad understanding of relevant IT infrastructure technologies e.g. Windows 7, Windows Server 2008, Windows SCCM 2007 and other.
You have gained practical experience (at least 4-5 years) in a similar role as described above. You can show a proven record of complex consulting projects with renowed consulting organisations.
You have mastered your university degree or an equivalent qualification with over-average success
You have strong analytical and conceptual skills
You are known for your delivery focus, your project management skills and your entrepreneurial thinking
You are committed, creative and are able to work independently as well as in a team
You are comfortable working in large, multinational environments and you are receptive to client needs
You can inspire and convince others; you build naturally long term relationships based on trust and expertise
You are fluent in English, you are willing to travel country wide and internationally and have a convincing and efficient communication style
The opportunity:
