The position

The role of Product Manager for the Trading team involves various responsibilities aimed at shaping and enhancing the trading operations and strategies of the company. 

Tasks & responsibilities

Strategic Planning and Prioritisation: You'll be responsible for strategically planning and prioritising tasks and projects to ensure optimal team resources and capacity utilisation. You need to understand the needs of stakeholders such as the Management Board, Risk and Compliance departments, and Treasury team and translate them into actionable strategies for the Trading team.

Product Development and Automation: Your role will involve guiding the development of a fully automated trading system. You will identify and address pain points, define the vision for product development, and work closely with quant traders and management to align trading strategies with business objectives.

Stakeholder Engagement and Communication: Effective communication and stakeholder engagement are crucial for success in this role. You'll need to collaborate closely with various teams and departments to ensure alignment with the overall business direction and implement trading strategies effectively.

Execution and Problem-solving: You will guide the execution of the roadmap, navigate operational issues and changes, and help the team find solutions to challenges that arise during product development and trading operations.

Candidate profile

To be successful in this role, you should have:

• Over five years of experience in the financial services industry, with at least two years spent driving or supporting traders in defining trading approaches as a Product Manager
• Excellent communication and internal/external stakeholder engagement skills
• A proven track record of leading results-driven product operations in the trading domain and deep knowledge of the trading landscape and its challenges
• The ability to make data-driven decisions and prioritise tasks strategically
