The company is headquartered in Maasdijk and has a production plant in Rucphen (50 fte). 

The position

The production Plant Manager will be responsible for controlling production costs, improving production efficiency, and establishing and maintaining relationships with suppliers, customers, and other stakeholders.

Tasks & responsibilities

You oversee smooth collaboration between production and all other relevant disciplines (sales, supply chain, procurement, etc.), ensuring optimal production and a satisfied customer (both internally and externally). You understand the tension, daily dynamics, and are adept at serving everyone's interests. The customer is central. You lead, guide, and coach your employees within the dynamics of an ever-changing organization. Including hiring, training, and evaluating employees. You play an active role in 'continuous improvement'. You participate in Industry events, trade shows, and professional development opportunities to stay up to date on best practices and new technologies. 

Candidate profile

  • bachelor's degree in industrial engineering or similar;
  • 10+ years of experience working in a manufacturing environment, including managing internal and third-party teams, as well as projects and initiatives;
  • 5+ years of experience in a production management role inside plastic industries and/or assembly processes;
  • experience with Lean principles and Operational Excellence;
  • deep knowledge and experience in end-to-end production and SC processes;
  • vast knowledge and training in operations and procedures, including production planning and plant machinery management;
  • full professional proficiency in Dutch and English;
  • cross-cultural work experience – advantage.
