The position

You are going to be part of a global marketing and business development team, constantly mapping breakthrough technological advances with market trends to create new business opportunities, drive new market expansion and deliver great customer experience journeys. 

Tasks & responsibilities

A look into the life of a Marketing Director RF Power for Americas

  • Work closely with US sales team, distribution partners, applications teams and central marketing in Europe to drive RF power product direction for the Americas
  • Figure out and deeply understand Ampleon’s RF Power markets including Aerospace & Defense, ISM, RF energy, Broadcast and Non-cellular Communication markets
  • Drive the overall marketing strategy and go-to-market approach, build long lasting customer relationships and deliver accelerated and sustainable growth in the Americas
  • Drive business development of new customers and new market segments that are in line with the company’s and regional business objectives
  • Work with focused accounts to identify and prioritize key opportunities and acquire the knowledge needed to support them long-term
  • Build a solid product roadmap and work with lead customers to enable successful roll outs of new products in the Americas
  • Identify key partnership programs and help implementing sustainable business models to enable solid engagements and faster learning curves with customers
  • Develop pricing strategies for each market
  • Provide training and guidance to local distribution and representatives network

Candidate profile

  • 10 years minimum of experience in RF power marketing, business development or similar
  • BS or MS degree in Electrical Engineering or other relevant area / MBA
  • Strong knowledge of US Aerospace & Defense programs and the ability to track them strongly preferred
  • Strategic thinker with excellent collaboration and relationship building skills
  • A good technical understanding of the products and the ability to act as a translator between what they do and what the customer cares about
  • Must communicate technical and business value propositions concisely and effectively
  • Able to develop and drive multi-channel marketing strategies in parallel
  • US citizenship required to be able to engage with US Defense prime contacts
  • Able to drive and train distribution partners and lead teams to meet design win targets
  • Willing to travel 30% of time minimum to visit customers and flexible with occasional global travels for internal meetings
  • Able to work effectively from one of our offices in Dallas or the Boston area or from a home office in the US
