The group headquarters are located in Assen with production facilities in The Netherlands (Assen, Groningen & Beverwijk), Italy & Turkey. Through various acquisitions supplemented by organic growth, M&G Group developed into the leader in flue venting and is on a path to achieve a similar position in ventilation & roofing accessories.

After a very successful period of buy & build and organic growth, followed by commercial integration, M&G Group is making a determining step to consolidate its activities in the north of The Netherlands into one new to be built plant & group headquarters of over 40.000 square meters, fueling its market dominance by significant cost restructuring, while creating a great workplace for all of its employees. The position

For our client M&G Group, we are currently looking for an ambitious and driven Manager Strategy and M&A to support the company in their growth perspectives.

In a professional manner manage the program for non-autonomous growth by M&A, as being worked out by Roland Berger for Ventilation and Roofing Accessories.

The Manager co-drives and structures the execution of the M&A Strategy. He / she is a direct advisor to the board and specifically to the CEO and has an important role in the entire M&A execution. He is responsible for researching the market, presenting findings and suggestions for merger and acquisition prospects for the business.

Additionally, with the aim of enabling successful transaction execution and integration, these abilities aid in the initiation and implementation of action plans for preferred routes of approach.

Tasks & responsibilities

  • Conducting market research and maintaining the target list of companies 
  • Making necessary analyses 
  • Prepare discussion with target companies (data gathering, key discussion items) 
  • Report on target evaluation in a structured standard manner 
  • Prepare decision papers for the Board, Investment proposal in cooperation with Egeria Evergreen team 
  • Prepare and propose set up for integration program and team 
  • Work very closely with CEO, closely with CFO, with Product Management M&G and Investment team Egeria Evergreen

Candidate profile

  • University degree preferably in Economics, Finance, Business related field
  • Approximately 3-7 yrs experience in M&A / Corporate Finance/ Private Equity environment
  • Has experience or affinity with manufacturing industry
  • Structured worker
  • Independent worker
  • Excellent reporting skills
  • Flexible in adapting to changing work package
  • Entrepreneurial, curious, energetic personality
  • Ability to quickly graps strategic overview, also in an unstructured environment
  • Fast, independent thinker, strong personality.
