The position

Lead the finance function for a diverse European energy business. Oversee financial reporting, compliance, controls, and team management. Ensure timely close processes, audit readiness, and regulatory adherence. Collaborate cross-functionally, mentor the team, and contribute to financial planning. Drive process improvements and maintain strong stakeholder relationships for sustainable business growth.

Candidate profile

• Immediate availability, self-starter, and able to work fulltime in a fast-paced environment
• Strong people management skills, experienced leading and mentoring a young team
• Expertise in financial reporting, compliance, and audit readiness
• Analytical and strategic thinking with problem-solving ability
• Preferably experience in Venture Capital or Private Equity environments for commercial insight
