The organisation

Your new company is a US multinational biotechnology company. Our client discovers, develops, and delivers worldwide innovative therapies for people living with serious neurological and neurodegenerative diseases. 

The position

Human Resources (HR) drives initiatives to attract, develop and retain smart, proactive, courageous and collaborative talent with a diversity of perspectives and backgrounds. As a key contributor to company-wide strategic decision-making, HR also helps drive the company’s business strategy forward.

In this role you will be a strategic partner to the business in order to achieve business objectives. You will be THE expert on people management. You will be supporting the business and the business leaders by leading workforce planning and talent management. You will be the partner for the managers to resolve people issues and challenges within the business. The HR Country Lead is, engaged in conversations about the business and the strategy and challenging the business to be innovative to solve the short-term issues as well as ensuring long-term success. AS the HR Country lead you will besides The Netherlands cover Belgium as well.

Candidate profile

You hold a Bachelor and/or Master degree in HR You have at least 7 years of HR Experience, whereof at least 2 years of leading an HR function in a commercial organisation. You are fluent in English and Dutch, oral and written and your communication/advising skills are strong. Knowledge of the German language is a plus, as Austria is potentially in scope as well. Experience in both large and small companies, with some working experience in the pharmaceutical or bio-pharmaceutical industry, with a strong preference of having worked for a US company is a big plus. Expertise in HR Generalist skills: compensation & benefits management, employee/industrial relations/labour law knowledge, organisational and employee development, recruitment and selection, and HR systems are required. Skills in organisational design & the ability to analyse people issues affecting business performance as well as change management skills are a benefit.
You are available on a full-time basis.
