The organisation

Our client is a leading international company providing innovative sustainable solutions for the management and recycling of industrial residues.

For our client we are looking for suiting candidates for the soonest possible starting date with the following qualifications.

The position

  • Control and further development of the continuous improvement process in Health & Safety at group level
  • Development of long- and medium-term objectives and derived from the Group-wide measures and their implementation and controlling
  • Ensure compliance (including audits) of legal and internal requirements in the H&S issues in cooperation with the line management in the management units / business units and Corporate Audit
  • Collaborate with local H&S Advisors and related support functions to systematically identify, evaluate, and mitigate hazards
  • Control the content of the Group-wide communication of H&S issues including support of Group-wide meetings
  • Develop in close cooperation with the H&S Director a H&S culture (value, dialogs, behavior and the corresponding safety consciousness along the organization)
  • Provide technical expertise related to internal/external safety audits and inspections to the group management

Candidate profile

  • Minimum 6-8 years of related H&S experience in manufacturing environment
  • Experience as production manager an advantage
  • Successfully completed a university degree in engineering, chemistry or equivalent
  • Experience in the management and coordination of international projects and teams
  • Strong analytical skills and high level of conceptual and communication skills
  • High commitment, flexibility and resilience
  • Very good English skills on written and spoken, German and Spanish skills an advantage
