The position

The Global IT Director is responsible for the development, professionalization and positioning of the global IT organization. He/she thereby optimally contributes to the achievement of the various business goals of Hoogwegt.

Candidate profile

• 15+ years of work experience covering all fields of IT Management in both large and small organizations
• Experience as a IT Director in successfully leading teams during transformation programs
• Experience in transforming corporate, project-driven organizations towards new (digital) business models
• Good understanding of and affinity for the global trading business, preferably in food-ingredients
• Strong personality, strong influencer – able to lead own teams and business stakeholders to structure and predictability
• Self-propelling and decisive on all IT (related) topics
• Hands-on mentality
• A strong business mindset driven by business benefits and opportunities
• Excellent verbal and written communications skills in Dutch as well as in English
• Bachelor or Master degree, preferably in IT, Business Administration or similar
