Job profile:
 
Reporting into the MD Benelux, the Operations Director is responsible directly for the Netherlands and functionally for Belgium. He/She has 6 direct reports and leads a team of about 100 FTEs, covering services, customer support and technical services. 
 
Key responsibilities:
 
Develop and implement a strategy to improve operations, in terms of efficiency and effectiveness, to achieve “first time right” performance
Develop and improve the relevant KPIs for operations
Improve customer satisfaction
Provide advice, guidance and lead managers in their professional development
 
Job requirements:
 
  • University degree preferred
  • Experience in operations management in a machine environment is preferred
  • Experience in managing and driving improvements and projects (lean philosophy)
  • Customer focused attitude 
  • Excellent leadership and people management skills
  • Comfortable in an environment of continuous growth
  • Experience in managing and building relationships with multiple stakeholders
  • Drives results and takes initiatives to achieve goals
  • Structured implementer, integrating easily with colleagues
