The organization
This organization is a sportswear and footwear retailer and is currently operating in 28 countries worldwide.
The position
As Director of Accounting & Payroll, you will provide leadership and guidance for all aspects of the Payroll Accounting and Operations functions for the 21 countries in Europe and 3 countries in Asia in which the organization has operations. You will ensure payroll is processed timely, in compliance and accordance with all local and US GAAP requirements. You will also partner with North American offices to ensure Xpat, stock grants and other compensation will be handled properly from a tax and expense standpoint.
Candidate profile
In order to be succesful as Director of Account & Payroll, you have at least 6-8 years of consistent career growth in Accounting / Finance, having gained a high level of functional knowledge, knowledge of international and industry standards. You posses a master’s degree, CPA or certification. Experience with US GAAP Accounting is a big plus.
