The position

The Chief Executive Officer will be accountable for the transformation to new business models and the growth of the organization's portfolio in a highly penetrated market where its presence is strong. The role has direct accountability for all Services-related Sales and Delivery. In addition to the primary role of leading Services Sales and Delivery, the role carries responsibility for decisions affecting the country across business lines and functions. The CEO is responsible for (co-)developing a clear vision on the propositions and services of the organization and creating a strong positioning of the organization in the market in The Netherlands.

Candidate profile

The ideal candidate for this job is a robust, seasoned CEO with a high level of energy, drive and resilience. He/she is a real entrepreneur with substantial IT knowledge and possesses a keen (commercial) eye for strategic business opportunities. He/she is culturally aware and be able to understand individual motivations whilst building a cohesive team with a shared purpose.

The homebase is in The Netherlands and a fluent command of the Dutch language is required. At the same time international working experience is a pre-condition.

Requirements

• Extensive experience in leadership & management positions in The Netherlands, operating at CxO level with customers in both the public and private sectors.
• At least 3 years of CEO experience in leading a transition or strong growth of a similar organization
• Strong presence within the Dutch ICT ecosystem and network
• Client relationship management across multiple business sectors
• Evidenced capability to run and grow a Sales led organization
• Evidenced business success in a transformational environment
• Relationship and influence with the key analysts and market commentators
• Strong analytical skills and strategic skills
• Academic work and thinking level
