In line with an ambitious growth strategy, and to offer its clients an even more complete portfolio of sustainable solutions, GoodNRG is now launching its third brand and business line; GoodZero. This business line will offer high quality impact carbon offsetting, which will help clients to reduce their carbon footprint and increase their true positive impact. For GoodZero we are looking for a Carbon Offset Program Manager to source the key projects for carbon offsetting. 

The position

You will start off by sourcing carbon offsetting projects through project developers. You are equipped with finesse which helps you to identify suitable project developers. You are familiar with due diligence processes and used to communicating with a variety of stakeholders. During the sourcing process of the carbon projects, you are in charge of partnerships, negotiations and contract management. Projects will be evaluated continuously.  

You are one of the guardians of the GoodCriteria. You ensure the GoodCriteria evolve in line with global sustainability guidelines and ensure the projects meet the GoodCriteria expectations. You will share your enthusiasm for sustainability with both your colleagues and clients. 

Once you have been successful in mining carbon projects, you will be able to build your own team.

Candidate profile

• Master’s degree in a commercial or technical discipline.
• Understanding of the principles of carbon accounting.
• Experienced and autonomous in contracting.
• Demonstrated in-depth knowledge and understanding of the carbon offset market and its players.
• Passion for sustainability and desire to make a positive impact.
• Ambitious, energetic, and proactive.
• Growth mindset and ability to adapt in a young and dynamic start-up.
• Excellent communication skills in English. Dutch or other languages are seen as a plus.
• Willingness to relocate to the Netherlands.
