The organisation

Our client is an international, technical consultancy organisation that takes over internal processes from other companies.

The position

The Business Development Manager is responsible to sell into strategic global and regional accounts. The BDM is responsible to build territory-level and strategic account plans for the portfolio in the region. Usually, the BDM will build and manage a portfolio of multi-million dollar accounts. In this challenging role you will have a number of important responsibilities, including; creating a sales strategy for your own portfolio, creating a partnership plan for internal and external colleagues, managing customer relationships with key decision makers at your customers, expanding existing MSA accounts by selling new concepts and frequently cooperate with the Delivery Manager to ensure that the delivery and management of (new) projects run smoothly.

Candidate profile

To make a success of your new role as Business Development Manager, it is a requirement that you already have several years of experience in building and expanding global accounts in the IT and business consulting industry. In addition, mastering the Dutch, English and German language is a requirement to be able to communicate with national and international customers. You are an independent and experienced new business account and project manager, but you also know how to work well with internal colleagues to make maximum use of new and existing projects.

The offer

In your new role as Business Development Manager you will receive a competitive market salary with a bonus component. You will be able to work from home fulltime. On the first day you have to go to the office to pick up your laptop and join the welcome session. It is also possible to work from the office on a voluntary basis but not a requirement. Before COVID-19 they already had the home office culture. The company offers many training and internal courses.
