The organisation
Our client is a leading company in the automotive sector, based in 32 countries. They are implementing a global and digital solution to transform the organization worldwide.
The position
The Business Intelligence Manager is based in Amsterdam and will report to the Global Head of BI and is accountable for the E2E design, development, testing, delivery and support of all BI & Data solutions for the organisation’s corporate stakeholders. Currently the Corporate BI team includes technical staff and BI analysts that manage the Corporate Enterprise data warehouse (DB2/ Netezza), ETL (Datastage) together with delivery of insight through Qlikview, Cognos and reporting.
This role forms part of the Global BI & Data leadership team and as such will also support the Head of BI in designing and implementing the new Global BI & Data CoE that will provide E2E BI, Data & Analytics capabilities for all of the company’s entities globally (32 counties) as well as for the corporate head office. The scope of this programme covers the coordination and delivery of a number of key global projects across the organisation’s Enterprise Data Architecture, E2E BI & Data Technology, as well as People, Process, Organisation and Change – the communications and engagement aspects of the programme is of particular importance.
Candidate profile
An University level in IT and a minimum of 10 years of relevant working experience and 5 years in a similar role. In that experience we are looking for significant delivery experience gained in SAP BI & Data environments. You have a energetic and proactive mindset and are a excellent communicator. You are written & verbal fluent in Business English and the ability to work under pressure and priorities key issues in highly dynamic environments. Vehicle industry and Technical BI experience is seen a big plus.
