We are looking for a Domain Architect for our client in Amsterdam. Looking for an exciting opportunity to lead a defined technology and innovation domain and secure the technical landscape for different portfolio’s?

Our client belongs to the most popular brands around the world. For their Head Office in Amsterdam, they are looking for a Domain Architect who will demonstrate technical depth, thought leadership, authentic interpersonal skills and passion to elevate their technology landscape to a new level.

The position

As a Domain Architect, you will lead digital transformations and provide inspirational leadership for Product and Solution Architects. You will make sure that principles and governance are followed and agree on any exceptions on behalf of the whole department. You are part of a wider team joining up technology & innovation across portfolios and domains. You will set the direction from an architecture and innovation perspective and create reference frameworks to guide teams to define solutions in a consistent way.

Candidate profile

Skillset Domain Architect

• You have a Master degree in a technology related subject and/or equivalent recognized work experience
• You are a trusted technology advisor and a technology innovation partner
• You have 5+ years of experience as an Architect or Senior consultant
• You have knowledge and experience with architecture frameworks and concepts
• You have experience with microservice architectures in global environments
• You have knowledge of loosely coupled architecture patterns
• You have excellent English communication skills; verbal and writing
• You have experience in a large, multinational, multicultural organization
• You have the ability to communicate with stakeholders without an IT background
