In the early stages of online payment, the number of fraud cases was significantly higher than it is now. People also paid money to the wrong person or company much more easily. But since these people are around, fraud and misdirected payments were being reduced by huge percentages. How they do it? By delivering software that checks if the IBAN and name of the account are corresponding. And it’s booming.

Expanding the brand, and building from the market they are already in, that’s what they do now. Now they own the Dutch market, and they’re worldwide recognized as a company that makes transferring money safer. And the platform has to deliver and be up at all times in order to keep its reputation high. Safety and trust that you help to deliver.

The position

To strengthen the team and cope with our growing IT department we’re looking for a Cloud Security Engineer to help protect our company, customers and society as a whole. As the Cloud Security Engineer you’ll support our engineering teams by continuously enhancing the level of security for our AWS production environment. The aim is to educate and enable teams to follow our security processes and act in such a way that our data, environment and overall security of our solution is never compromised.

Candidate profile

Do I have the required skills to work here?

With your experience with AWS, and particularly AWS Cloudformation, AWS CDK, AWS ECS, you will already come a long way. Furthermore, you can comfortably work with object-oriented languages and scripting languages. You have also previously worked in SaaS organizations as well as in a DevOps and DevSecOps culture.

The offer

Alright, and what do I get in return?

Your job as Cloud Security Engineer is of crucial importance and greatly appreciated. Therefore, you will be provided with a lucrative salary of between €80.000 and €100.000. You will receive 25 holiday days and a holiday allowance of 8%. Besides, you will be provided with all necessary appliances, such as a MacBook Pro and an Iphone. As if that weren’t enough, you will get 8% personal benefit budget which you could spend on extra holiday days, salary or training. So what are you waiting for?
