To continue the sucess story it is our client''s intention to recruit a Manager (m/w) global Marketing / Business Development

The position

• Responsible for the overall development and implementation of a global segment strategy and ensuring global alignment of the business processes and market approach
• Drive growth and product refresh programs for coatings segments
• Develop strategic plans to align with business objectives and to drive business growth
• Develop and implement marketing plans to meet business objectives
• Work with multiple functions, including sales and R&D to gain consensus and drive the execution of marketing plans
• Strengthen and manage product branding
• Identify and implement marketing plans for new or undefined areas
• Coordinate and develop standard marketing packages and materials for internal and customer audiences

Candidate profile

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent from accredited  college or university. MBA a plus
• Minimum of 5 years of marketing experience with experience in coatings industry highly preferred
• Ability to travel on a regional and global basis (20%)
• Demonstrated ability to think strategically, plan and execute strategies to drive business growth and alignment
• Proven ability to manage and/or participate in cross-functional teams
• Capability to analyze competitive environment and intelligence, to anticipate competitive responses
• Comfortable interacting with and developing relationships with customers
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
