Chief Financial Officer - Financial Services - Amsterdam

Introduction
Due to strong growth across the business, our client has a great opportunity for a Chief Financial Officer to join a young and successful group.

Reporting relationships

The CFO will report to the CEO of the Group and be a member of the Board.

The position

The CFO will be responsible for the financial functions including financial control and reporting, strategic business planning, tax and treasury. This new executive will manage the annual business and strategic financial processes and provide direction to operations management on financial operating matters, including financial management information and control systems. In this role, he/she will function as a team player throughout the Company.
This person will also be relied upon to make insightful contributions into the global strategy, planning and in strengthening the operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan, develop, organize, implement, direct and evaluate the organization’s financial function and performance. 
  • Participate in the development of the corporations’ plans and programs as a strategic partner. 
  • Develop to establish credibility of the finance department by providing timely and accurate analysis of budgets, financial reports and financial trends. 

The ideal profile 

  • Have experience with fast growing companies, with a background in reporting, global structuring and financial analysis. 
  • The candidate should be an energetic, forward-thinking and creative individual with high ethical standards, and an appropriate professional image. 
  • Experience with and in-depth knowledge of international finance and fiscal/tax issues will be crucial for this position. Knowledge of and experience with the financial markets in Asia is a plus.

Education
Qualified candidates will have a degree with a preference for a CPA (certified Public accountant)-type of qualification and/or MBA.
