The position

In this position you will be responsible for boosting the growth of the Product Control Instrumentation (PCI) business in Europe, ensuring healthy, sustainable profits and growth. Further, it is important to take the next steps in the PCI Strategy Plan to ensure an effective and efficient PCI sales organisation in the territory.

You will represent the organization to its PCI customers, business partners (incl. distributors through Distributor and Channel managers) in an appropriate manner that portray its customer centric approach, their vigilant commitment to the industry and its clear path to operational excellence. 

Tasks & responsibilities

  • Continue and expand the PCI Strategy for the Europe organization with a strong focus on PCI Sales activities and performance, throughout Europe. Specific areas of attention are Germany and Major Account business development for the PCI business
  • PCI Projects: including MRO Business as well through EPC Contractors
  • Translate the global PCI strategies throughout Europe and set objectives and KPIS’s for all relevant stakeholder
  • Promote a positive work environment and motivate all staff to instil passion and willpower to go the extra mile
  • Analyse, develop and implement plans/activities based on the results of the bi-annual employee survey
  • Monitor, manage, control and report on progress of company status versus business plan and forecasts
  • Monitor, identify and mitigate risks
  • Develop new business through Customer Centric approach by taking advantage of our installed base, our technology lead and by specific strategic promotions increasing our Customer base
  • Keep abreast of competitor developments and activities and take effective countermeasures
  • Ensure that the company is supporting the overall drive and direction from Corporate (HQ) and European level
  • Adhere to and enforce the organization's procedures
  • As key player in the Europe organization, support intercompany business initiatives in such a way that it is beneficial for the whole organization
  • Participate in international teams and business meetings on Corporate (HQ) and European level

Candidate profile

  • University degree
  • At least 10 years of experience in the industrial automation industry in Sales & Marketing and (international) business scope
  • Preferably (project) engineering background with international scope
  • Mature, stable and decisive candidate with successful managerial track record in the industrial automation industry
  • Confident, reassuring and able to capture the attention of his/her audience
  • Strong interpersonal communication, negotiation and persuasion skills
  • Strong capability to build long term customer relationships
  • Balanced sense of urgency and achievement
  • Open and transparent behavior and style
  • A creative entrepreneur who is able to think out of the box
  • Results and customers are the main drivers

Salary indication

The salary indication for this position is €160.000 - €175.000 OTE.
