An international organisation with breakthrough products in the display technology. The organisation is now entering the phase of introducing the technology in the market.  
  
De functie
 
The main goal of the CEO is to drive the rapid development and delivery of high quality products in order to close partnerships and establish the business as a leading partner. The CEO is responsible for the overall management, commercial development and operational excellence of the company.

Key responsibilities: 

  • Fine-tune and execute the strategy of the company against clearly defined deliverables. 
  • Deliver the new products within defined stages on time. 
  • Developing and executing a succesful sales and partnering strategy worldwide. Certainly, in the short term, the CEO will be expected to be the `number one salesperson` leading the sales team. 
  • Coordinate a well thought funding and exit strategy in cooperation with the CFO and the board. 
  • Achieve revenue and profit objectives as agreed with the Board. 
  • Developing and maintaining strategic partnerships with global display players both on manufacturing and distribution side.  

De eisen 

The organisation is looking for an CEO with experience in an international hi-tech organisation. Experience in a R&D and (outsourced) production component is required to be successful in this organisation. The organisation wants to develop itself and grow aggressively and is looking for a person who can lead this development. A person with strong commercial qualities, ambitions and entrepreneurial skills. Experience with venture capitalists, funding issues and a exit strategy.

Profile: 

  • Capable of building and leading a first-class business. 
  • Capable of building the commercial model for engagement with manufacturing partners but also getting a full understanding of trade customers requirements and specifications. 
  • Creative and entrepreneurial flair is essential 
  • Experience in doing business in Asia and a relevant network with key players, such as Nokia, LG and Samsung. 
  • Strong stature and presence. Must be highly credible both internally and with business partners and investors. Must have an outstanding reputation. 
  • Must display true `start-up spirit` and will be fully in tune with the Board`s expectations. 
  • Experienced in building key strategic partnerships and developing a successful exit strategy.  

De arbeidsvoorwaarden 

€ 150.000,- fixed salary.
Excellent remuneration package where the major incentive will be through the equity which will benefit the entire management team on a successful exit.
