The position

In this high-visibility role, you will work closely with the CFO and CEO and engage directly with investors, analysts and senior leadership in a small-cap listed environment.

As Head of Investor Relations & ESG, you will drive Brunel’s positioning with investors while coordinating the company’s ESG agenda. This is a unique opportunity to professionalise and lead the IR function in a small-cap context, where your work has direct impact on investor perception and strategic decision-making. You will be the voice of Brunel in the market, building credibility with analysts and shareholders, and setting the standard for ESG reporting and initiatives across the organisation. The role offers visibility, influence, and the chance to leave a lasting mark on both capital markets engagement and sustainability leadership.

Tasks & responsibilities

  • Lead and professionalise Brunel’s IR function, acting as the primary contact for investors and analysts
  • Manage quarterly reporting, investor communications and capital markets events
  • Shape and communicate Brunel’s equity story and long-term value proposition
  • Track market sentiment, shareholder base and peer developments, advising the CFO and CEO
  • ESG & Sustainability
  • Coordinate and strengthen ESG reporting, disclosures and sustainability ratings
  • Act as central point for ESG topics and drive cross-functional improvements
  • Support initiatives on environmental, social and governance topics, including Scope 1, 2 and 3
  • Collaboration & Governance
  • Partner with Finance, Legal, HR and regional teams
  • Prepare IR- and ESG-related input for senior leadership and the Board
  • Ensure consistent communication across financial, non-financial and sustainability disclosures

Candidate profile

  • Master’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration or related field
  • Strong IR experience in a listed or capital markets environment; ESG experience a plus
  • Financially savvy with a clear understanding of capital markets dynamics
  • Comfortable taking ownership and operating with autonomy in a lean organisation
  • Excellent communication skills with senior management and Board-level stakeholders
  • Pragmatic and hands-on, with the ability to navigate complex, multinational industrial environments

The offer

  • € 140.000 - 160.000 (incl. holiday allowance)
  • Bonus: <20%
  • Lease car
  • Pension scheme
  • Collective health insurance plan
  • And more
