In this role you will lead the Global FP&A Manufacturing team in a fast-paced organisation in transformation. So are you up for a big challenge? 

The position

The Global Head of ISC manufacturing is leading a global FP&A team, creating an impact by providing high value adding analysis to the manufacturing organization. You will be a Business partner to Head of Supply Chain Global and Global Manufacturing controller to further improve insights, particular in the area of manufacturing productivity, product costing, CAPEX monitoring and cost of quality and product costing.

The Global Head of ISC develops, promotes and implements the global set-up of the FP&A ISC manufacturing organization that supports the regional and local manufacturing business navigators at large. In this role you will also develop and implement global FP&A manufacturing processes, like planning and budgeting, that support the strategic objectives of the company.

Furthermore, you will proactively drive culture of continuous improvement and drive the maturity agenda in the areas of Governance and Process Management; (co-)define measures, reports and metrics of performance management at Global level; provide key stakeholders a better understanding of business performance and planning projections; proactively help other team members to grow and develop and interact with stakeholders/counterparts on executive positions.

Tasks & responsibilities

  • Be the leader of the Global ISC manufacturing FP&A organization, leading a focused team and creating an impact by providing high value adding analysis to the manufacturing organization
  • Contribute to the Global FP&A strategy and execution as a member of the FP&A Management Team
  • Be a Business partner to Head of ISC Global and Global Manufacturing controller to further improve financial insights, particular in the area of manufacturing productivity and , product costing, CAPEX monitoring and cost of quality
  • Develops, promotes and implements the global set-up of the FP&A ISC manufacturing organization that supports the regional and local manufacturing business navigators
  • Develop and implement global FP&A manufacturing processes, like planning and budgeting, that support the strategic objectives of the company
  • Proactively drive culture of continuous improvement
  • Drive the maturity agenda in the areas of Governance and Process Management
  • Implements and manages operational best practices/ efficiency programs
  • Provide key stakeholders a better understanding of business performance and planning projections 
  • Design, implementation and improvement of budget, planning and forecasting processes and timetables in line with the Integrated Business Planning
  • Define a standardized approach for insights into fixed and variable productivity
  • Collaboration
    • Proactively help other team members to grow and develop
    • Interacts with stakeholders/counterparts on executive positions
    • Be a sparring partner to the Head of FP&A
    • Close relation with Commercial CoE and Business Navigators to define measures and improve processes
    • Other Global FP&A leads
    • Global Reporting and Analytics team

Candidate profile

  • At least 10 years of leadership experience in a FP&A/Controlling role in strategic/transactional/operational finance and capable of analyzing complex processes and issues
  • Master degree in Accounting (i.e. RA, CA / CMA), Finance or Business (i.e. MBA) or equivalent
  • Ability to communicate effectively across multiple layers in the organization
  • Ability to manage and connect stakeholders on different levels of the organization
  • Ability to deliver high quality work under time pressure
  • Previous experience in working in (FP&A) departments with global scope
  • Possess excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
  • Demonstrated experience in helping junior analysts to grow and develop
  • Strong ‘can-do’ mentality and ‘drive’ to accomplish tasks and deliver results o No 9-5 mindset
  • Advanced Excel/ Powerpoint knowledge/skills
  • Experience in ‘change management’ in a finance environment is required
