The Competence IT Effectiveness is part of the Business Unit Performance Improvement. IT Effectiveness supports customer organizations in the field of IT Value Management. A starting point for IT Effectiveness is that IT should be managed as a "business". The proposition focuses on the complete IT value chain.

In the Netherlands, IT Effectiveness is offered to all clients. The organization is structured according to market segments: (1) Financial Services, (2) Public Sector and (3) Commercial Sector.

Function

Principal Manager IT Effectiveness.

The advisory group IT Effectiveness within the business unit “Commercial” focuses on all clients except financial and public institutions, e.g. Consumer, Industrial Products & Services, Energy, Technology, InfoCom and Entertainment industries.
Being a ‘trusted advisor’, the Principal Manager is the right business partner in the achievement of proven IT Effectiveness.

Roles and responsibilities

  • The Principal Manager is responsible for executing and managing complex consulting assignments. Manages several subprojects through Analysts and Advisors.
  • Is together with the Partner and Director responsible for the internal management within the competence. Coaches less experienced consultants in their technical and personal development and is responsible for their competence development.
  • Is responsible for the professional and commercial treatment of his / her portfolio of assignments.
  • Contributes actively to a clear internal and external commercial positioning of the group, for example through participation in seminars, etc. and developing and expose methodologies.
  • If desired, it is possible to be deployed intensively in international contracts or (in any period) to be posted abroad.

Requirements

Academic level graduate, preferably in Business Administration, Business Economics or Business Informatics, preferably supplemented with a postgraduate training.
Approximately 8 years professional experience as a consultant or manager in the field of business and IT alignment, preferably in an international commercial environment.
