Marketing Communications Manager / BtoC

The Senior Communication Manager develops the strategy of marketing communication by translating targeted marketing campaigns derived from fact based PowerBrand insights into impactfull marketing communication campaigns ATL/BTL, supporting the Brand, interacts and coordinates with corporate communication department.

  • Reports to the Head of Marketing Communications
  • Close interaction with the Head of Marketing, Head of Branding & Marketing Communications and the Segment Marketing Managers. Cooperates with Program @ccelerating Online for execution campaigns in the Brand’s internet environment and with the Corporate Communications department on press-related issues and internal communications

Responsibilities

Marketing Communications / Advertising:

  • Manage key external marketing communications campaigns, ATL as well as BTL, from set up and development into the factual execution (in cooperation with segment marketing managers and corporate communications)
  • Contribute to the overall marketing communication strategy from a top-down as well as a bottom-up perspective

Customer Insight

  • Able to use the PowerBrand insights to derive communication strategies for the entire market and for specific segments
  • Able to design creative brief and judge in an excellent way the creative proposals by the agencies

Accountability:

  • Overall responsible for the ROI for both ATL and BTL campaigns
  • Leading the development, orchestration and execution of marketing communication campaigns

Coordination:

  • Provide guidance, advice and support to the Segment Marketing Managers and the sales channels on communications issues
  • Coordinate major internal and external communication campaigns with counterparty in the Corporate department

Requirements

  • Minimum of 5-8 years experience in a communications role, in e.g. a FMCG industry, Durables or a leading Dutch advertising agency
  • University Degree in Economics or Mass Communications
  • The candidate must speak Dutch

Skills

  • Strong creative, communication, organizational and project implementation skills
  • Ability to adapt to changing priorities and to thrive in a fast-paced work environment
  • Ability to manage staff effectively and maintain positive working relationships with a diverse group of internal and external personnel
  • Experience of working with web, graphics, copywriting, business analysis, and software development teams

Remuneration

Salary max. 110k OTE.
