Int. Sales Manager Professional Footwear Division (PFD)

Responsible for PFD revenues and customer satisfaction

Key responsibilities

  • Generate Sales: Actively sell all seasonal and at-once product initiatives. Manages all aspects of the assigned territory by developing and implementing sales strategies that promote the sale and sell through of PFD products. Sales objectives, campaigns and promotions, sales brochures and order guides, sales presentations, sources of product and distribution, and proper merchandising. 
  • New Business: Identify product opportunities with future and existing key accounts. Results driven and demonstrated ability to implement methods for driving incremental sales. 
  • Management Advises: Identify market / technology developments, trends and wishes in the area of marketing and sales. Develop and improve new market analysis, products and delivery agreements. 
  • Customer satisfaction: Monitor major complaints and wishes markets and key accounts may have. Improve the way the organization deals with them and be an internal advocate for the wholesale business. Poses strong business relationships with service industry management to provide exceptional service and value. 
  • Financial / Commercial information: Monitor major payment behavior of markets. In cooperation with A/R, select country sales managers for payment reminders, revenue reports and forecasted revenues. 
  • Product information: Select and gather information for new product developments. Develop and maintain knowledge of PFD products, sales systems, and procedures. - Achieve sales and revenue goals by ensuring that all accounts are profitably served.
  • Prepare and deliver all customer presentations, pricing and promotional proposals, and other business endeavors. 
  • Coordinates the involvement of cross-functional personnel, including support, service, and management resources, in order to meet partner performance objectives and customers’ expectations. - Monitor competitor activity within the channel market and to form strategic plans for increasing market share. 
  • Sales Strategies: Identify European sales opportunities and communicate them to the country teams à create market strategies. Works closely with existing or perspective customers to establish appropriate sales goals based on sales history analysis and projected sales trends. Meets regularly with PFD sales management to review sales data and account management.
  • Sales Agreements: Create in cooperation with Legal sales agreements in which with the mutual interest of the organization and external wholesale customers. Possesses and applies comprehensive knowledge to complete complex sales assignments; possesses excellent oral and written communication skills. Handles and works with proprietary, private and confidential information.- 
  • Networks & Negotiations: Generally compete with various major competitors establish a good working relationship with resellers, chain outlets, and other accounts locally and abroad.

  • Sales and marketing knowledge on HBO level 
  • Product and industry knowledge
  • Negotiating and sales skills 
  • Experience in B2B market for fashion/shoes (hospital, clinic, hotel, restaurant, kitchen, gym, shop, factory) 
  • Social skills 
  • Fact-based Selling skills
  • Planning and organizing skills 
  • Effective communication skills, both internally and externally
  • Creativity and flexibility 
  • Valid driver's license 
  • Availability to work a flexible weekly schedule that includes weekends
  • English, French, and German language skills are a plus
