The position

The Head of Project Engineering leads the Project Engineering department comprising of project engineers, technical specialists, field equipment specialists and site commissioning employees. Project Engineers and other members include middle to highly senior levels. Department and project decisions are taken independently within department and project budgets and the project strategy to improve financial results.

The Head of Project Engineering manages the Project Engineering department and acts as technical project manager in forthcoming situations. The Head of Project Engineering will continuously develop integration engineering activities in order to keep up with latest developments and solutions required for the organisation as a total solutions provider.

Candidate profile

• Mature personality with proven experience in the management of process automation, technical project teams and project execution
• Business and management attitude with entrepreneurial skills
• Communicative on medium to top Customer levels, fluent in English
• Works autonomously, practical and is a self-starter
• Flexible attitude and experienced in problem and conflict solving
• Used to operate in management teams and is decisive
• Can handle pressure
• Knowledge of International codes and practices for design, materials, equipment and construction
• Petroleum or Chemical project experience
