Our client is one of the global market leaders in its BtoB market. The European subsidiary based in The Netherlands is responsible for sales marketing to distributers around the European countries and after sales services via the dealer network or directly to clients.
The Sales Director is responsible for all sales results in Europe. Leading a team of five regional sales managers, total salesteam of 60 you will take care of the existing markets and open new ones. Your main task will be to strategically implement new ways to reach further growth in revenue, profit and market share. You will report directly to the VP Europe.
To be successful in this international role you need to have extensive experience in a similar position and a proven track record in managing an international sales department within an distributer focused industry. Further creative business focus, result driven and an excellent communicator that inspirers your team and clients. Willing to travel internationally (up to 70%) to be in the markets with your team members and visiting clients. Ideal a University degree, preferably a completed MBA.
