The company is is a leading pooling service company of made-to measure modular pooling concepts with global services. The company has a strong experience in packaging supply chain management.

Functieomschrijving:

The company is looking for someone who takes responsibilities for the zone he/she is accountable for. In this context, he ensures to identify the expectations of the clients and to actively promote the services the company can propose in accordance with these. He/she ensures the shining development of the company and ensures to give a reliable and constructive image in all circumstances. He/she takes care of a useful network to develop the company.

The job objective of the Chief Commercial Officer is:

  • To realize fast growth of the company by marketing closed pool solutions to big players in white goods, brown goods and automotive.
  • To form a great team by being a coaching and demanding leader of the sales and the customer service team. To manage the teams according to personal sales plans.
  • To help the management team become a focused, loyal and supporting team by being a constructive and supporting player in the team in which every team member will always do more than his/her own functional responsibility.
  • To monitor closely the profitability and margins of both the pooling services as well as the product sales.
  • To balance between long term (pooling) and the short term (sales of MH products).
  • To maintain / improve relations with the existing customer base of the company.
  • To identify new potential accounts in the fast growing business of pooling services.
  • To make crystal clear to all his team members and to customers what the added values are that the company is offering to customers: total cost of ownership.
  • To make services of the company as customer specific (dunnage, etc.) as possible in order to make the link with each customer stronger.
  • To develop, maintain and communicate KPI’s by which the team can be managed.

Functie-eisen:

  • Outstanding background in international Services related to packaging / supply chain
  • At least 8 years international experience in a comparable position
  • Successful track record developing, positioning, marketing and growing a services business
  • Fluent in English, preferably combined with other languages
  • Excellent People management skills
  • Customer focus
  • A good understanding of Lean principles as a selling point
  • Good at selling on the basis of “You can pay us out of the savings we can create for you”!

Arbeidsvoorwaarden:

€ 120.000 - € 140.000 OTE
