De functie

The Account Director New Business will report to the Commercial Director and is expected to help the company reach its strategic growth targets. Focusing on developing new accounts, the role will involve getting close to all decision makers in and surrounding major client organizations, understanding their structures and businesses and then identifying and promoting opportunities within.

Key accountabilities include:

* Establish, maintain and develop the relationship with key accounts.
* Take a lead role in identifying up-selling and cross-selling opportunities and ensure continued growth and profitability of the assigned accounts based on a "total managed services solution" promoting and strategy (promoting the full spectrum of products & services).
* Ensure revenue targets are achieved and KPI's are met.
* Prepare business proposals in order to secure business from the customer.
* Respond promptly to customer requirements whilst taking full responsibility for allocated accounts.

De eisen

* Senior and accomplished Account Management or Business Development professional (minimum of 5 years) with a proven track record in developing, launching and managing new and complex offerings in the managed services market.
* Thorough understanding of business cycles, long term developments and key issues in both infrastructure development and datastorage solution and the ability to capitalize on revenue generating opportunities.
* Familiar with directing high value IT offerings based on innovative business concepts and in line with a "total solution" strategy, creating executive visibility for the managed service solutions services offered by the company.
* Strong business development, negotiation, and influencing skills.
* Superior relationship building skills with the ability to build rapport, create interest, gain trust and clarify customer needs.
* Executive-level presentation skills, building on expert authority.
* Strong forecasting and closing skills.
* Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously and deal with changing priorities.
* Exceptional organizational and time management skills.
