The organisation

A rapidly growing tech-driven services startup in the Hospitality sector is revolutionizing hotel operations through cutting-edge automation technology. We are seeking a Chief Commercial Officer (CCO) to lead commercial strategy, drive revenue growth, and spearhead international expansion. This role is designed as a stepping stone into the CEO position, making it a unique opportunity for an ambitious commercial leader ready to scale a high-growth company.

What You’ll Do:

  • Lead Growth & Market Expansion – Own the commercial strategy, acquiring and managing partnerships with small-to-medium hotels.
  • Drive Sales & Partnerships – Build relationships with decision-makers in the hospitality industry, securing long-term contracts.
  • Shape Product Development – Collaborate with the tech team to refine and enhance automated check-in, payment, and digital key integrations.
  • Build & Scale the Commercial Team – Recruit and lead a high-performance sales & account management team, expanding into key international markets.
  • Strategic Business Development – Identify new revenue opportunities, partnerships, and innovative go-to-market strategies.
  • Stakeholder Engagement – Represent the company at industry events, pitch to investors, and align commercial goals with executive leadership.

Candidate profile

  • Commercial Leader – 8+ years in commercial roles, with at least 3 years in leadership positions.
  • Proven Sales Driver – Track record of revenue growth and client acquisition, ideally with a combination in technology/SaaS and a background in the hospitality sectors.
  • Entrepreneurial & Visionary – Ability to thrive in a fast-paced startup, build scalable sales processes, and drive international expansion.
  • Tech-Savvy & Strategic – Understanding of hospitality technology (PMS, automation, digital check-in solutions) is a plus.
  • Excellent Communicator – Strong stakeholder management and negotiation skills at executive and board level.
