The International HR Director is a trusted advisor to the Board, the Country Managers and to the staff. The HR Director is supported by Office Management and payroll is outsourced.

The position

You advise the organization on HR, change and the development of the chosen strategic priorities. For 2024, these are onboarding, L&D Academy, performance management and compensation & benefits.

The International HR Director is a key position in shaping this international scale-up organization. We seek an energetic HR Director to craft a strategic HR vision, establish a robust HR framework, and deliver comprehensive HR services across France, Germany, UK and The Netherlands. You are proactive and ambitious. In this dynamic work landscape, your focus remains forward, contributing to Vintura's growth. You will work in a high degree of autonomy and independence. You are part of the MT, working closely with the Country Managers. The International HR Director will report to the Board of Vintura International in the Netherlands.

Tasks & responsibilities

Main responsibilities of the International HR Director are:

  • Act as a trusted advisor and business partner to the Board and Country Managers, developing the HR strategy as well as partnering with them on all HR matters;
  • Drive integration agenda for European offices;
  • Take ownership on the HR agenda and provide HR consulting to Board and Country Managers on topics such as talent acquisition, onboarding, learning & development, appraisal, compensation and benefits;
  • Drive implementation/execution/communication of HR projects and processes;
  • Analyzes and interprets business organization(s) needs in order to make improvement recommendations, leverages best practices and identifies opportunities for efficiencies.

Candidate profile

We are looking for a knowledgeable HR generalist who is equally a business leader and builder of HR solutions, based on HR best practices.

  • An international mindset and experience is key;
  • Enjoy both design (e.g. harmonization of employment conditions) as well as the implementation of HR policies;
  • Always eager for new ideas and solutions to create the best ways to serve the business;
  • Demonstrated emotional intelligence and highly pro-active approach to HR;
  • Proven results in delivering successful international HR projects;
  • Trustworthy, high level of integrity and ethical standards;
  • Minimum of 8 years experience in a strategic HR position, in a dynamic international organization;
  • Bachelor level, although academic level is preferred;
  • Excellent English communication skills; Dutch, German or French as a first or second language;
  • Willingness to travel (10% of the time).

The offer

  • The salary range for this position, depending on seniority and experience, is between €7638 and €9336 gross per month (excluding 8% holiday allowance);
  • A variable remuneration depending on results;
  • Vintura also offers good secondary conditions such as a telephone, laptop and work-from-home facilities.

Additional information

  • The position is office based (in one of the 4 Vintura locations, preferably in the Netherlands);
  • Vintura will move from Baarn to Utrecht WTC per February 2024;
  • Hybrid working at Vintura provides employees flexibility in how and where they work and offer a better work-life balance;
  • It’s a position for 32-40 hours a week;
  • When accepting a contract with Vintura, this will initially be for a definite period of one year. Vintura is keen to maintain this position permanently.
