The position

As VP commercial Strategy EMEA at Getinge you will be a member of the EMEA Management team and will report to the President EMEA (42% global sales). You will overlook all Tactical Pricing, Commercial Excellence and Hospital Consulting initiatives. In this role you will have Intensive relationship with all EMEA functional leaders as well as with country leadership teams in the EMEA region. In the meantime you will be responsible for managing two directors who are responsible for pricing and commercial excellence.

This vacancy is a replacement but there will be freedom to design the role as it fits you best. The ideal candidate has work experience in one of the leading consultancy firms. On the personality site we are looking for sharp, bright, ambitious and dynamic candidate who is able to bring the strategy into practice with his hands-on attitude. The position is home-based or based at any Getinge office location in EMEA. Frequent travelling is part of the job. Candidate profile

  • A leading consulting firm experience
  • Experience in the medical technology and/or pharmaceutical industry experience is a plus
  • Advanced degree in economics or business administration or degree in life sciences in combination with an MBA or MSc
  • Experience in Commercial Excellence and Tactical Pricing is a must
  • Excellent analytical skills
  • Influential management style; visionary
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English language required; additional language skills are a desired plus
  • Proficient in working with diverse variety of people from different cultures and backgrounds
  • Exhibit strong interpersonal and organizational skills
  • Empathic, people oriented and forward thinking with a “hands-on” mentality
  • Able to deal with pressure and setbacks
  • Excellent MS-Office knowledge
  • Strategically and tactically creative with strong implementation skills
  • Able to frequent travel mainly within Western Europe (30-50%); you should not have any travel restrictions
