In addition, it owns its own plantations, farms, production and processing facilities as well as distribution and innovation centers. Through these channels, the multi-billion dollar company supplies both industrial raw materials and fully-fledged products (private labels and own brands) to more than 25,000 customers worldwide.

Virtually everything Olam International does is dedicated to sustainability and responsible growth. That is why the company is working on several fronts on fundamental changes within the food industry. One of the many results of this is AtSource. With this B2B platform, the company has the ambition to guarantee a fully transparent food sector. It makes the origin traceable and the ecological footprint transparent.

In order to maximize its long-term value, simplify its portfolio and sharpen its focus, since January 2020 the food and agribusiness has been split into Olam International (parent company), Olam Global Agri (cereals and pet food, edible oils, rice, cotton and financial services for goods) and Olam Food Ingredients (coffee, cocoa, dairy, nuts and spices). By splitting from Olam International, Olam Food Ingredients (OFI) aims to grow in the service of co-creating healthy and sustainable end-products with customers. The new Senior Digital Marketing Manager will lead digital marketing and communications activities to enhance the OFI brand.

The position

Olam Food Ingredients (OFI) supplies sustainable, natural and value-added food ingredients. OFI recently cut loose from parent company Olam International – a successful global trading house. An interesting challenge lies ahead for the new Senior Digital Marketing Manager, who will support OFI’s digital strategy with excellent online presence.   

Tasks & responsibilities

The Senior Digital Marketing Manager works closely with OFI’s marketing team and external agencies to support the digital marketing and customer engagement strategy. She/he is in charge of the full digital ecosystem and contributes to business growth, increased visibility and recognition of the OFI brand and its pillars. 

The Senior Digital Marketing Manager is the first point of reference for all things web at OFI. She/he will be responsible for OFI’s web-based platforms, social media channels and related activities, such as SEO, SEA, social media promotions and analytics. She/he understands the opportunities that digital ecosystems offer for customer engagement and ensures that the brand has one face to the market throughout all the customer touchpoints. The Senior Digital Marketing Manager ensures that any change on the website is in line with the overall web channel strategy. An example; they will interpret Google Analytics reports and discuss potential improvements for the website content with responsible business leads. 

The recent split between Olam International and OFI has led to a brand new separate website for OFI. The optimization of this website is within the remit of the Senior Digital Marketing Manager. She/he will be in charge of content, customer journey and functionality. 

The Senior Digital Marketing Manager is a representative providing thought leadership for digital activities, for example when it comes to customer engagement, integration of databases or GDPR knowledge. This person also engages with OFI’s marketing team in broader digital marketing projects, including the longer term evolution of global web presence and social media channels. Furthermore, she/he contributes to the overall customer marketing strategy at OFI.

Candidate profile*

  • Minimum of 7 years work experience
  • Digital analytical tools (Google and Adobe Analytics)
