Our client is a multinational player within the chemical industry. With a history of more than 40 years our clients the main focus are polymer emulsions and specialty chemicals.

We are currently looking for a strong sales manager (m/f) who has broad network and experience within chemical markets to take care of the region in Northern Germany and Poland.

Position

• Responsible for the sales of polymer emulsions in Northern Germany and Poland
• Develop and maintain customer contacts across functional boundaries, including commercial, operational and technical
• Regular visits to customers based in Northern Germany in identified segments
• Identify and define new product and process development opportunities with own customers in segment area
• New client acquisitions and identification of new customers

Profil

• University degree or equivalent level in a scientific discipline, preferably chemistry
• Experience in selling within the chemicals industry.
• Commercial experience in chemicals industry, with experience of managing multiple channels and highly technical value based selling with a pricing complexity
• Strong interpersonal and persuasion skills to be able to secure customer confidence and support
• Sociableness, ability to work in an international team, flexibility and high value of engagement
• German and English business fluent, any other language is a plus
