The Position

We offer this new and challenging position for an experienced Director Controlling (Projects & Supply Chain) due to the successful growth of our global organization. You will actively participate in the definition of the top-level business and operating strategy for Inalfa Roof Systems. You report directly to the CFO based at our HQ in Venray (the Netherlands) and work in a strong business partnership with the COO and CTO. 

In this role you define the global financial and business parameters together with the COO and CTO to drive organic growth, in alignment with corporate strategic plans. You act as a constructive advisor and pro-active challenger to support decision making in all business finance related matters. 

Tasks & responsibilities

We are looking for a professional who has the potential to grow to VP Group Controlling level.

  • Lead the project and supply chain controlling activities of the ambitious and aggressive growth strategy for Inalfa in alignment with Headquarter strategic plans.
  • Providing sound business cases, cost analysis, margin analysis, product and customer portfolio analysis in close co-operation with the Supply, Manufacturing, R&D and Business Development departments.
  • Provide financial guidance to ensure solid business cases on lifetime programs in line with internal policies and procedures to ensure sound control is developed and maintained.
  • Co-pilot to provide financial transparency to project and supply chain management.
  • Combining planning, organizing, executing, assessing and controlling the financial control activities for all applicable business areas
  • Collaborate with the other directors Controlling, Planning and Corporate Chief Accountant in optimizing performance management.
  • Ensure full integrity of all aspects of the financial information reported.
  • Control in line with financial procedures and guidelines.
  • Provide performance management reporting for the project and supply chain management team.
  • Uses forecasting and trend analysis data to guide initiatives.
  • Use scenario analysis to drive balanced business and operational decisions.
  • Support project management and plant management in decision making.
  • Challenge the business on the ongoing projects to secure structural profitability.
  • Train, coach and develop the skills of the Financial Analysts.

Candidate profile

  • MsC degree in Finance or postgraduate (RC/RA/CPA/MBA).
  • Should have 15 or more years’ experience in senior finance positions in a high tech/industrial, medium or large size international company. Preferably added with project and/ or supply chain controlling experience.
  • International working experience is required.
  • Good understanding of international business practices, finance and business control.
  • For the future job profile of the group controller , appropriate legal and fiscal understanding is required
  • Excellent problem solving and creative skills and the ability to exercise sound judgment and make decisions based on accurate and timely analyses.
  • Takes a high level of independent responsibility and decision making on a day to day basis with a high degree of personal accountability and in alignment with Headquarter strategies.
  • Demonstrates keen sense of priorities, inspire others with forward looking orientation and willing to make a difference!
  • Creates a compelling vision that motivates others; communicates and drives the function's mission, vision and values.

  • Excellent interpersonal skills, ability to communicate and manage well at all levels of the organization and with staff at remote locations as well as connecting people and drive teams into world class execution.
  • Good understanding of major ERP systems.
  • Able to replace the CFO in her absence
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills in English.
  • Willingness to travel frequently.
