The position

As Country Manager Netherlands you will report directly to the CEO and will manage the commercial aspects of Wyzetalk Europe. Out of the Netherlands you will conquer Europe, step by step. You will focus on marketing, sales and the pricing strategy, build the local sales team and will work closely together with Operations (based in of South Africa). You will have a crucial role in the success of establishing Wyzetalk business wise on the European markets. You will have to build the European organisation, headquartered in the Netherlands and will actively engage with C-level clients to increase sales and maximize market potential at the same time.

Tasks & responsibilities

In this challenging role you will actively seek and develop new business opportunities yourself as well as building and growing the teams. We will first focus on the Netherlands from where we will build and amplify our European business. Your tasks will include managing sales, attracting new customers, taking care of customer relationships, generating value to our customers as well as building the commercial teams. With an entrepreneurial and innovative attitude, you will develop the business and have a key role in contributing to the growth of the company. Our clients are large multinationals, and our development & operations team is based in South-Africa, so you will need to be able to think internationally, work with different cultures, and collaborate with a self-steering team to generate results.

Your main responsibilities include:

  • Develop and optimize the European strategy and build local sales and marketing processes;
  • Manage customer relationships, develop customer strategic business plans and grow meaningful C-level client partnerships;
  • Responsible for budget, annual sales and marketing plans including forecasting;
  • Deliver presentations, pitch decks for key customer interactions and translate clients’ needs into compelling solutions;
  • Lead the coordination of multiple internal international resources to successfully close sales on new accounts;
  • Oversee key client projects, processes and performance via data and analysis;
  • Develop recommendations for innovation and analyse competitive trends;
  • Coach, build and support the sales force and hiring the best profiles for project implementations. 

Candidate profile

  • Master’s Degree
  • Minimum of 5 years complex sales experience, preferably in a SaaS / Enterprise / Solutions focussed company or data driven business;
  • You do understand how important and complex stakeholder management in corporates can be, but also feel comfortable to run with a scaleup mindset within a highly entrepreneurial environment;
  • Proven results from generating complex new business sales and developing sales teams;
  • Passionate and entrepreneurial leader with a track record in commercial management;
  • Facilitating, structured and pragmatic mind-set with strong people management skills;
  • Excellent strategic, tactical, interpersonal and analytical skills; 
  • Fluency in Dutch and English.
