Our client is an USA A-label food company with personal attention to employees. They have a strong market position. The office is located at Schiphol, in an amazing and inspiring work environment. 

The position

The International IT Consultant will be responsible for technology consultation for all member countries in EMEA and report to the Director Operations Technology. You develop and maintain relationships with Area Leaders by weekly calls and respond to questions and concerns from operations and IT personnel. You take care of software needs, hardware needs and associated cost with potential new and existing customers.

Tasks & responsibilities

You have a solid knowledge of the Data Warehouse (DWH) and should be the interface between the DWH team and the other master franchises in Europe. You must be able to understand the concepts within the DWH to counter challenging questions during presentations and discussions. 

Your responsibility is to train personnel within the EMEA region and support the system remote as well as on-site. Software development skill are important in this role because you need to conduct testing & perform software development for markets in Europe region.

Candidate profile

You have at least 2 years of project support experience, primarily project task scheduling and managing multiple relationships with project stakeholders including internal and external clients. You have experience or familiarity with: project planning, project scheduling and issue identification and with Microsoft Office, specifically Excel, Visio, and Project.
You are familiar with analytics, reporting, data work including architectural design and system lifecycle management is a plus. You have ability to communicate with all levels of the organization. You have experience with working in an International environment, with understanding of local behavior. You have experience in SAP/ Microsoft Dynamics/ Oracle/ Business Intelligence tools on integration level.

Experience with training staff and store operations background is highly desired. You must be able and willing to travel to international countries (25-40%), in some cases you’ll stay for 1-3 weeks to complete initial configuration, installation and training of solutions. Besides that you have the ability to communicate with all levels of the organization (English plus one other language is preferred) and excellent organization and time management skills to ensure project completion.
