For an international company in the region of Eindhoven we are currently recruiting a

Manager Business Control M / F

We are looking for a strong manager, who is responsible for the control of the financial reporting, the internal controls and financial planning. He/she is able to translate the finance strategy and knows how to motivate and to stimulate a team of finance professionals in a fast changing and challenging environment. The Controller is a leading Management Team member and reports to the CEO.

The candidate has a proven track record as manager in complex organizations. Leadership and communication skills to both senior management as to the own team are essential.

Responsibilities

  • Financial staff management, motivation, training, recruitment and selection
  • Records and reports operating results (closing, forecasting, profit plan) to the CEO, analyzes variances, leads the development and the delivery of action plans
  • Develops and motivates the finance team to take initiatives, support complex business decisions and drive results
  • Collaborates with the CEO and the Management Team to develop the business strategy and growth
  • Provides financial analysis with a view to improve profitability
  • Structures analyses and recommends actions for working capital management and cash flow improvement
  • Develops annual program budget, conducts periodic budget review and ensures divisional and departmental functions adhere to established budgetary guidelines and implementation procedures
  • Develops and monitors procedures and internal controls to safeguard the company’s assets

Profile

  • Master degree in finance and/or accounting, preferably with additional post-graduate studies
  • He/She has a minimum of 12 years experience managing a finance team within a multi-national complex environment
  • Fluent in Dutch and English
  • Demonstrated ability for structured and analytical thinking, attention to detail and root cause analysis
  • Solid change management skills including delegation and people development
  • Demonstrated leadership and accountability
  • Good communicator both to senior management and to peers and direct reports
  • Action oriented, organized and with a strong business acumen

Salary conditions

€110 - 120k plus bonus.
