TheSocialMedwork

The organisation

TheSocialMedwork is a still small but dynamic, multicultural and mission-driven healthcare platform. We are currently located in the heart of Amsterdam on the beautiful Herengracht. Our young expert-team from 14 nationalities and headcounts 20-25.

We are a disruptive social e-health enterprise that helps patients around the world gain access to the latest medicines for cancer, neurological disease like ALS and MS and rare diseases like Cystic Fibrosis or Duchenne. Innovative medicines that have been approved in another country but are not yet approved or available where the patient lives. Waiting for the medicine to come to your country is no option if you’re life threateningly ill. Patients search the internet, find these medicines at our global platform and contact us to organise the purchase, importing, secured shipping and delivery with help of our expert team of pharmacists, medical doctors, scientists, lawyers and customs experts.

Following a real patient centric approach, we have helped patients and their doctors get access to over 10.000 medicines in more than 80 countries with a success delivery rate of 100%. Patients and doctors review us at Google with 4.9 out of 5 stars.

With a long-term mission to become the Number 1 Place-to-Go-to if it comes to any medicines innovations, TheSocialMedwork believes that everyone deserves equal and fair access to the latest and best healthcare no matter who they are or where they live.

Having this impactful BHAG we are of course also facing the growth challenges that come along with start-ups that intend to be challengers and game-changers. You’ve been there…
