Our client is one of the most important players in the production and distribution of building materials (CEMENT).

Position

Director of Prospective and Strategic Development:

report to the President of the Company and to the Chairman of Board of Directors.
 

• Key duties/responsibilities:
• Expert evaluation and management of the effective production process, in order to achieve decrease in production costs and increase in productivity.
• Administration and supervision for technical modernization of the plants at all stages: design, erection, commissioning, obtaining full production capacity.
• Elaboration of the technique program for startup of the plants, as well as the program of the perspective development of the plants.
• Assessment of the economic effect from implementation of the projects and its conformity with the estimated one, analysis of errors and their causes
• Estimation of the needs in equipment, selection of equipment, selection of suppliers of the modern equipment, concluding equipment supply contracts.
• Day-to-day business control of engineering divisions.
• Coordination of work of the technical services of the Holdings' plants relating to preparation and realization of the technical upgrading programs.
• Effective budget management in accordance with investment programs.

This list of duties and responsibilities is not limiting, it may be adjusted after passing of the probation period under mutual agreement between the parties.
 

Profil

Our clients seeks a clear business leader that has vast experience in the Cement industry. Since lots of business of our client is located in Eastern Europe and Russia we look to find someone with relevant experience in these countries, especially in the last couple of yours, when the industry boomed.

Must haves:

• Engineering background with distinctive expertise in cement production and erection of plants.
• You know the cement process inside out and are able to provide expert knowledge for all production related issues.
• You used to work at a plant and then have been responsible for developing several plants of the region.
• You are a clear leader and able to communicate at all levels.
• Russian language skills are highly preferable.
