Job description:

The Manager Clinical Mechatronics will be responsible for the product development and maintenance of product pipeline. The position will report to the company's R&D Leader and will lead a team of 20-25 R&D employees. He/she will drive mechanical engineering and electronics (mechatronics) to develop and maintain optimal devices based on customer-market driven insights that provide optimal usability and functionality leading to a competitive advantage and further growth in designated areas. A key element of the function is to translate clinical needs based on customer insights and customer intimacy into design ideas.

Requirements:

• MSc/PhD in life sciences combined with mechanical engineering/design experience or MSc/PhD in mechanical engineering with clinical experience
• 5 years of industrial experience in medical devices preferably
• Managerial experience in R&D or in cross-functional teams
• Proven track record in driving quality in an organization
• Proven track record in change management
• Excellent communication skills
• Focus on quality
• Organisational sensitivity
• Team player
• Willingness to travel approximately 25 % per annum

Remuneration:

€ 100.000 - € 125.000
