Job Description:

The Manager Catheter Development will be responsible for developing new catheter solutions based on market and customer input together with marketing in order to drive and deliver the catheter development portfolio. The position will report directly to the company's R&D Leader and will lead a team of 5-10 R&D employees. A key element for this position will be the ability to integrate clinical information into product design and usability of the catheters providing the smallest amount of treatment time, health and safety for the patient, simple ways of handling for experts and specialised instruments for various kinds of treatment. The Manager and his team will work together in close collaboration with other departments such as marketing, sales, production etc.

Requirements:

• MSc/PhD in industrial design/mechanical engineering
• MSc/PhD in biotechnology/life sciences
• 5 years of experience in the field of biomedics or medtech
• Clinical experience is required preferably in applying interstitial therapies
• Proven track record in change management
• Proven track record in delivering results from R&D and in managing functional excellence in an R&D organization
• Experience in working in a cross-functional environment
• Excellent communication skills
• Focus on quality
• Organisational sensitivity
• Team player
• Willingness to travel approximately 30-40% per annum

Remuneration:

€ 100.000 - € 125.000
